About
Our Beliefs
We believe the Bible to be the authoritative Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, composed of sixty-six books and divided into two departments, Old and New Testaments. II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1: 20-21.
We believe there is but one living and true God, everlasting, of infinite power, knowledge, wisdom, presence; Maker and Preserver of all things, both visible and invisible. I Cor. 8:6; Gen. 21:33, Gen. 17:1; I John 3:20; James 1:5; Jer. 23:24; Gen. 1.
We believe that in the unity of this Godhead there are three Persons of one substance, of equal and eternal being: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. II Cor. 13:14; Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 2:18.
We believe that the Son, Jesus Christ, who is the Word of the Father which became flesh, was conceived by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary and by this the true God and true Man were joined together in one Person, never to be divided. This same Jesus actually suffered, was crucified, died, and buried, to reconcile us to the Father and to make atonement, not only for our actual sins, but also for our original sin. John 1:14; Luke 1:35; I Tim. 2:5; Matthew 26 and 27, II Cor. 5:17-21; Matthew 9:6; Romans 5:12-21.
We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood for the remission of sins that are past; and for the regeneration of penitent sinners, and for salvation from sin. Romans 3:25, I John 3:5-10; Eph. 2:1-10.
We believe that Jesus Christ did truly rise again from the dead, and took his body, and ascended into heaven and sits at the Right Hand of the Father until He shall return to judge all men at the last day. John 20; Acts 1:1-11; Mark 16:19.
We believe the Holy Spirit, proceeding from the Father and the Son is of one substance, majesty and glory, with the Father and the Son, true and eternal God. Acts 5:3-4; I Cor. 3:26; Acts 2:32-33; I Peter 4:14.
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit being available to all born-again believers and in the present ministry of the Spirit in and through the believer as manifested in the ministries, gifts, and fruit of the Spirit. Luke 3:16; John 1:33; Acts 2:4; Acts 2:38-39; 10:46; 19:6; Eph. 4:11, I Cor. 12:8-11; Gal. 5:22-23.
We believe that divine healing is available to everyone on the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus. I Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; III John 2.
